Munira assists the legislative department by building relationships with state and local lawmakers, working on the policy agenda and monitoring key legislation. She has a Bachelor’s in Political Science and English Literature from Hamline University. She used to work for the City of Minneapolis as a Research Analyst at the North Minneapolis Promise Zone. Her passion is advocacy around poverty and racial equity. In her free time, she loves reading sci-fi novels and figure drawing.
