Paul is an organizer with the ACLU of Minnesota currently focusing on voter restoration efforts for justice system-impacted individuals. He received his Master of Human Rights from the University of Minnesota, where he focused on migration and transpacific studies, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from St. Olaf College. Before joining the ACLU of Minnesota, Paul worked as a field organizer for various local electoral campaigns, as an immigration paralegal, and as a language educator in both the United States and China. In his free time, Paul can be found dogsitting, axe throwing, or one-bag traveling.
