SAINT PAUL — The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit
The ACLU of Minnesota is suing the City of Worthington and Worthington Police Department over an assault by police that put the victim in intensive care for five days, requiring multiple surgeries and medical procedures.
The Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled Monday in favor of the ACLU-MN’s argument that local law enforcement does not have the authority to detain people for ICE.
