The ACLU-MN will be co-hosting a community voter rally in Bemidji alongside the Regional Native Defense Public Corporation and representatives from Red Lake, Leech Lake, and White Earth.
The event will focus on issues facing Indigenous voters in Northern Minnesota and particularly on the impact of Restore the Vote for Native voters. Programming will include four breakout sessions, a plenary session with elected officials, resource tabling, and performances by Indigenous drummers and hip-hop artist/elected official Maria Isa.
Lunch will be provided.
