ACLU-MN SUES ON BEHALF OF MAN WRONGFULLY ARRESTED IN WILLMAR
The ACLU of Minnesota filed a lawsuit on behalf of Derrick Gilbert, who was unlawfully arrested by Willmar police in a classic case of “walking while Black.”

The City of Duluth and the attorneys representing the family of Mr. David Croud have reached a tentative settlement agreement resolving the matter between Mr. Croud's family and the City of Duluth. The agreement will require ratification by the Duluth City Council.
If you are interested in presenting an issue at your caucus on February 2, this is a very important issue to the ACLU-MN. We will be working on it during the legislative session this year. If you do decide to introduce this resolution please let us know how it goes!
